THE WAR ON TERRORISM

Since the recent attempted bombing of a flight to the US by a Nigerian who apparently studied Arabic in Yemen has made the headlines this last week of Decmeber 2009, it is perhaps time to give some additional consideration to the entire topic simply because most US Citizens are extremely ignorant of such and rely solely on official government protection and other things, whilc they while- away their time in frivalous and trivial pursuits, ostensibly in 'pursuit of happiness' which is not guaranteed in the constitution and only mentioned for the most part in THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE the greatest document ever penned and signed by people who knew what they were doing. In some respects, these rebels and 'terrorists' who later became patriots and Founding Fathers of THE REPUBLIC, have been ignored by the very citizens of the nation which is called THE UNITED STATES of America. TERRORISM has existed ever since man kind emerged from the primeval ooze or mud and became truly primitive primates, savages and barbarians, etc. in the STRUGGLE FOR SURVIVAL,whether the fittest or not! MODERN TERRORISM,however, has many of its roots in the Colonial World of Pre-World War II as well as in the Pre-World War I era(s). The Wars of Colonial Powers to annex and control other nations and to create 'empires' helped create the modern groups of terrorism. Specific terrorist groups will be mentioned and discussed here when appropriate as well as the general notions and misconceptions of 'terrorism'
